WELCOME!

During the fall of 2008, the 2/3 classes at SFC did a project about games. One thing we did in this project was to learn how to play new games by reading and analyzing the directions. Some of the directions were easy to figure out and others were more challenging. Another thing we did was to reflect on the games after we played them. When we reflected, we realized that there are many different things that can make a game good or bad. Our reflections also helped us to learn that you can change the game and make it better if it is not good or not fair. After we read about games, played many games, and reflected on them, we each decided on one of our favorite games. Then we worked with a group to write directions for how to play that game. We used those directions to create this site. When we finished writing our directions on paper, we typed all of the words. Then we added pictures and videos to help people understand the directions. We created this site so that other people can learn new games and have fun, make friends, get exercise, take a break from working, and get smarter. After all, that's why people play games!
